Dave McCracken
Dave McCracken has titled his recently installed sculpture “TThe Best Laid Plans Go West – Corten Steel”. This is the most significant work in the artists career. It was installed in 2009 and comprises 32 blocks 1200mm x 800mm made from corten steel.
2009 Temporary Sculpture Installed:
Jeff Thomson’s Haystack was installed at Connells Bay in October 2009.
Photographic Opportunity:
Anne Noble’s photograph “Spool Henge, South Pole, Antarctica”
was chosen from 32 proposals for the photographic billboard at Connells Bay Sculpture Park, Waiheke Island.
Noble’s work will be installed at Connells Bay in time for the re-opening of the sculpture park on 24th October 2009.
