Kon Dimopoulos

Konstantin Dimopoulos was born in Port Said, Egypt, and immigrated to New Zealand in 1963.

In 2001 his Pacific Grass was awarded the inaugural Wellington Civic Initiative for Sculpture.

Dimopoulos moved to Melbourne in 2003 and since then has completed Red Centre for Melbourne?s Federation Square, Colour Field for a new sustainable urban development in Melbourne, and Pulse for the University of Sunshine Coast (2007).

His work is internationally known and he is currently completing public works in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
