How to Find Us

By Passenger Ferry:

Take the regular Fullers ferry from downtown Auckland to Waiheke's Matiatia Wharf. Check the timetable on their website. www.fullers.co.nz

Book ahead for a taxi (+64 9 8038 or 0800 529 252) or a rental vehicle (+64 9 372 6643 or 0800 372 200 or web  www.waiheketransport.co.nz  or +64 9 372 8998 www.waihekerentals.co.nz .   4wd is preferable but not essential.

By Car / Passenger Ferry:

By Helicopter ... direct to Connells Bay:

Directions once on the island.

Once on the island, it is approximately 30 minutes drive from the ferry at Matiatia to Connells Bay. Follow the main road towards Onetangi then turn right just after the Shell petrol station into Waiheke Road.

After 1.5 km turn right again towards Orapiu (this is still Waiheke Road) and continue on for 9km, passing Passage Rock Vineyard on your right. At the top of the hill you will come to a T junction where you should turn left into Cowes Bay Road. Travel 1.3km and look for the yellow letterbox. This is Connells Bay!

If you are just visiting the Sculpture Park then please park through the gate. We will meet you here at the pre-arranged time as this is the start of your visit. Please ring us on 09 372 8957 if you are delayed for any reason.

If you are coming to the guest cottage we recommend a 4wd or 1700cc+ vehicle and suggest you drive down in low gear as we do have a rather steep driveway. After 500 metres take the left hand fork to Connells Bay.
